Claude Debussy
Achille-Claude Debussy was born on August 22, 1862 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) and died in Paris on March 25, 1918, he rests in the Passy cemetery.
One of the avant-garde of modern composition, he revolutionized 20th century music. An important part of his work is devoted to the piano (the largest of French music with that of Gabriel Fauré). The rhythm is deconstructed and the intuitive melody in Debussy seems to be born from improvisation.
