Israel "Iz" Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole, translation: "The Fearless Eyed"; May 20, 1959 – June 26, 1997), also called Bruddah Iz (Brother Iz), was a Hawaiian musician, entertainer and sovereignty activist.
